(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will travel to the Windy City on Saturday, November 9 to play the Maroons of the University of Chicago in an University Athletic Association (UAA) contest.  The Tartans will enter the game with a 3-5, 0-1 UAA record, as the Maroons are 5-3, 0-1.

The series between Carnegie Mellon and Chicago started in 1988 when the UAA was formed.  The Tartans hold a 20-5 advantage and have won five of the last seven meetings, including a 31-14 win in Pittsburgh last season.  Carnegie Mellon holds the longest winning streak between the two teams at 10 games, which started the series.

Last week, the Cardinal and Gray dropped a devastating 9-7 loss to Washington University while the Maroons fell 16-3 in Cleveland, Ohio to Case Western Reserve University.

When the teams collide on Saturday, Carnegie Mellon will look to put a stop to its three game skid.  Kick is set for 12:00 p.m. CT.
