(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will travel to Chicago, Ill., on Saturday, November 8 to play the Maroons of the University of Chicago in an University Athletic Association (UAA) game. The Tartans will look for revenge after dropping a 14-12 contest a year ago in the Windy City.
The series between Carnegie Mellon and Chicago started in 1988 when the UAA was formed. The Tartans hold a 20-6 advantage and holds the longest winning streak between the two teams at 10 games, which started the series.
The Tartans will enter the game with a 3-5, 0-1 UAA record, as the Maroons are 6-1, 1-0. When the teams collide on Saturday, Carnegie Mellon will look for its first road victory of the season. Kick is set for 12:00 p.m. CST.
