Renna Tabbed UAA Special Teams Player of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior placekicker Gabe Renna (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) of the Carnegie Mellon University football team was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Special Teams Player of the Week. Renna earns the honor following his play in the Tartans' 20-16 setback at 18th-ranked Thomas More College this past Saturday.  
    
Renna turned in a perfect outing Saturday, as he converted all three of his field goal attempts from 21, 31 and 35 yards away and added an extra-point. Renna is now 10-of-10 on extra points this season.

The Tartans are back in action on Saturday, October 1, as they host Bethany College at 6:00 p.m. on the turf at Gesling Stadium.
