Football Announces 2017 Incoming Class

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University Head Football Coach Rich Lackner has announced the Tartans 2017 recruiting class.  The Tartans will welcome 31 newcomers that hail from 18 different states.

Carnegie Mellon will enter its fourth season as an affiliate member for football in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).  The Tartans ended its 2016 season with a trip to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Legacy Bowl for the second consecutive year.  

The Cardinal and Gray will open the 2017 campaign on Saturday, September 2 with a trip to St. Louis, Missouri to play the Bears of Washington University.
