Duhring Earns Men’s Basketball UAA Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior John Duhring (Round Hill, Va./St. Maria Goretti) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for his performance this past weekend in UAA action.

On Friday evening in a 77-75 overtime loss to Chicago, Duhring tied a career-high with 24 points and followed that with 23 points on Sunday in an 88-79 setback at Washington. In the two games, Duhring averaged 23.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 80% (16-20) from the charity stripe.  

Duhring and the Tartans will return to the court on Friday, February 17 to face #18 Emory University at 8:00 p.m. in Skibo Gymnasium.
