(SEWICKLEY, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team opened play at the Western Pennsylvania Intercollegiate on Monday. The 36-hole event is being played at Allegheny Country Club hosted by Wittenberg University. The Cardinal and Gray fired a 297 on Monday and are in second.

Individual Play:

  • The Tartans had four individuals compete in the intercollegiate, as senior Joshua Lim led the Cardinal and Gray individuals with a two-over par 72.
  • Freshman Jay Saluja carded a 73.
  • Senior Morgan Yang finished with a 74.
  • Junior Jack Sonne shot a 75.
