(MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team continued play at the 2022 Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational in Miramar Beach, Florida, on Monday. The Tartans carded a 296 for round two and have a 36-hole score of 578 (282-296) which places them tied for fourth in the three-day, 54-hole tournament out of 25 teams.

How it Happened:

  • Junior Justin Chan continued to lead the Tartans on Monday, as he fired a four-under 67 and retains the top spot on the individual leader board in a field of 125 golfers with a 36-hole score of 132 (65-67) (-10).
  • Senior Brian Xu is tied for ninth individually after carding a two-over par 73 on Monday and has a 36-hole score of 142 (69-73).
  • Sophomore David Zhang fired a 79 in round two and has a 149 (70-79).
  • Freshman Justin Luan carded his second straight round of 78 on Monday and has a 156 (78-78).
  • Sophomore Andrew Wang will enter the final round of play with a 157 79-78).
