Crawshaw Headlines Carnegie Mellon’s All-UAA Men’s Soccer Award Winners

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Junior John Crawshaw (Carnegie, Pa./Carlynton) headlines the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Soccer Honors for the Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer team which finished 3-4 in league play and sixth in the standings. Two others join Crawshaw on the awards list which was released Monday, November 14.

Crawshaw earned second team honors as a defender while junior Moni Sallam (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) and sophomore Chris Wysocki (Newtown, Pa./Germantown Academy) received honorable mention recognition. Crawshaw started all 15 games in which he played, scoring one goal. Sallam played in and started 12 games as a defensive midfielder while Wysocki played in all 16 games, scoring five goals as a midfielder. Two of Wysocki's goals came against UAA competition including the game winner in overtime at home versus New York University on October 28.

Crawshaw and Wysocki both earn Association recognition for the first time as Sallam's name appears on the list for the second straight year.

The Tartans ended the season at Emory University on Saturday, November 5 with a 2-1 win to record a final season record of 7-8-1.
