Steven Geier swam the second leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay which provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships with a time of 6:55.00 at the UAA Championships. He finished second on the team in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 4:40.29 which he also achieved at the UAA Championships. In addition to his top 500-yard freestyle time at the UAA Championships, Steven recorded top times of 1:43.60 in the 200-yard freestyle and 1:55.25 in the 200-yard backstroke.
