Bamforth Awarded Fourth UAA Diver of the Week Award

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Junior diver Gabe Bamforth (Cambridge, Mass./CRLS) was awarded his fourth University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Diving Athlete of the Week award for his showing at the Kenyon College Total Performance Invitational on November 30-December 2.

Bamforth won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the invitational against divers from Kenyon and Grove City College. He finished 11 dives on the 1-meter with 489.85 points which stands as fourth best in the nation. His score of 542.80 after 11 dives on the 3-meter was 4.7 points off his own school record and is currently second in the nation.

The Tartans will next be in action on Saturday, January 13 at Westminster College at 12:00 p.m.
