Hoyt Honored as UAA Men's Diver of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior Tyler Hoyt has been honored as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Diver of the Week for his performance during a home diving invitational on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18.

Hoyt placed first on the 3M springboard with 479.70 points after 11 dives during the CMU Diving Invitational. His top-scoring dive earned 7.0s and 7.5s from the judges. He picked up another top-three performance on the 1M board with 419.15 points. Hoyt's 3M performance met the diving standard for regional competition for the first time this year.

Hoyt and the rest of the Carnegie Mellon divers will next hit the pool on Saturday, December 1 at Washington & Jefferson College at 10:00 a.m.
