Kissell Ends Career as Capital One Academic All-American

(TOWSON, Md.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior Ryan Kissell (Greensburg, Pa./Greater Latrobe) finished his track and field career with the highest academic and athletic honor one can garner as he was named to the Capital One Academic All-America Division III Men's Track and Cross Country Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Kissell was named to the Academic All-America Second Team after earning first team All-District honors for the first time. Kissell, a chemical engineering major, carries a 3.95 GPA.  He ended his career as a five-time All-University Athletic Association (UAA) athlete in track and field after placing second at the 2012 UAA Championships in the long jump and third in the triple jump.
