Men’s Track Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) - The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2020 Division III All-Academic Track & Field Teams and Carnegie Mellon University was included on the list for the 24th consecutive year. A total of 150 men's teams and 209 women's teams earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or better for the 2019-20 academic year.

The men's track and field team achieved a team GPA of 3.52 for the 2019-2020 school year.

In addition to the team earning the award, six individuals were honored:
Senior Fred Dauphin (Brockton, Mass./Cardinal Spellman)
Sophomore Graham Eversden (Chandler, Ariz./Chandler)
Senior Edward Goebel (Abington, Pa./La Salle College HS)
Freshman Noah Lynch (Amesbury, Mass./Amesbury)
Senior Liam Walsh (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard)
Senior Evan Yukevich (Tokyo, Japan/American School in Japan)

All six individuals qualified for the award by achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or better with either competing at the NCAA Championships or finishing the regular season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event or top 35 in a relay event.

Yukevich earned All-Academic recognition for the fourth time, Walsh for the third time, and Dauphin and Eversden for the second time.
