Women’s Golf Wins NCAA Preview, Final Round Halted Due to Weather

(HOUSTON, Texas) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team won the 16-team 2021 NCAA Division III Preview held at the par-72, 5,804-yard Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.

The Tartans led the field following play on Monday with a 300 with University of Redlands and George Fox University sitting one-stroke back with a 301. Play on Tuesday was then halted after five holes due to inclement weather in the Houston, Texas area.

Per tournament rules, the leader after the last completed round is crowned the winner.

Carnegie Mellon will play at the Generals Invitational on October 4-5. The two-day event will be played at the Lexington Golf & Country Club in Lexington, Virginia.
