Tartans Tied for Fourth at 2023 NCAA Championship, Second Round Play Stopped Due to Darkness
(HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team sits fourth following its second round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Championship on Tuesday in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The Tartans shot a team score of 320 on Wednesday and have a 36-hole score of 639 (319-320). Shortly following the Tartans completion of round two, play was suspended due to darkness.

How it Happened:
- Senior Alexis Sudjianto will enter the third round as the leader of the Cardinal and Gray after entering the clubhouse with a four-over par 77 and has a 36-hole score of 156 (79-77). Sudjianto is tied for 13th individually in a field of 151 golfers.
- Sophomore Sriya Mupparaju fired an 82 in the second round and has a 158 (76-82) is tied for 20th individually.
- The last Tartans to finish on Wednesday was sophomore Kaylin Yeoh who carded a 79 and has a 163 (84-79).
- Sophomore Reeya Vasishta carded an 83 on Wednesday and is tied with Yeoh with a 163 (80-83).
- Round two saw junior Denise Pan shoot an 82 and will enter the third round with a 171 (89-82).

- The conclusion of round two will begin at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday followed by the start of the third-round play. After play Thursday, the field will be cut to 15 teams and the top six individuals not on one of those teams to compete in the final day.
