Sudjianto Garners Second UAA Women’s Golfer of the Week Honors

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week for the second time this fall following her in leading the Tartans to their first UAA Championship as well as to a second place showing at the 2023 Golfweek Invitational last week.

Sudjianto was named the UAA Most Valuable Player at the 2023 UAA Championship event. She won both her matches during the championships, the first 5&4 over Kexin Guan of NYU and the second 5&4 as well over Esther Jung of Emory in the championship match. In the Golfweek Invitational, Sudjianto carded rounds of 79, 74 and 76 for a 229.

Through seven rounds this season she is averaging 74.0 per round.
