Camila Bodden Shares Student Experience

Camila Bodden is a senior on the 2022 women’s soccer team who plans to return for a final season in 2023 as a graduate student. Camila is studying biology with a minor in Hispanic Studies and is pursuing an integrated master’s degree in biomedical engineering.
Legg Adds Scholar All-America Honor to List of Senior Season Accolades

Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer senior Rachel Legg was named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America team after earning Scholar All-Region accolades for the first time in her career. Joining Legg on the All-Region team is senior Alex Adams who was honored on the second team.
ECAC Names Legg Defensive Player of the Year

Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer senior Rachel Legg was recognized as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year. Legg also landed a spot on the first team, marking her second ECAC First Team selection with her other honor coming following the 2019 season.
Legg Garners All-America Recognition in Final Season; Two Others Named All-Region

Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer senior Rachel Legg has garnered All-America recognition from United Soccer Coaches in her final season as a Tartan, earning recognition on the second team. The honor is the first of Legg’s career and the third in three years for the Carnegie Mellon women’s soccer program.

Twenty-four Carnegie Mellon University student-athletes were named to a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division III, nominated by members of CSC, for the fall season. College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) rebranded to CSC in the summer of 2022.
#7 Tartans Upset in NCAA Round of 16

The seventh-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team battled to a 2-1 defeat in the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Sectional Round against Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday, November 19. The game marked the sixth time in nine tournament appearances that the Tartans finished as one of the top 16 teams. The Tartans close the year with a 14-3-2 record.
Locateli Named UAA Defensive Athlete of the Week

Freshman Helena Locateli of the Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Defensive Athlete of the Week after helping the seventh-ranked Tartans win two games in the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship tournament.
Legg Named UAA Defensive Player of the Year, Four Others Honored by Coaches

Senior Rachel Legg of the Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team has been named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Year, a first for a Tartan in the three-year existence of the award, while four teammates also garnered All-Association honors from the league’s coaches following a 5-1-1 UAA schedule.
#7 Tartans Advance in NCAA Tournament, Top #10 Calvin, 2-0

The seventh-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team advanced to the sectional semifinal round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship with a 2-0 victory at home against 10th-ranked Calvin University. The Tartans are now 14-2-2 for the season while Calvin closes its year at 18-1-1.

The seventh-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team hosted a first round game in the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship and soared to a 6-0 victory after a second-half goal-scoring spree to top Bryn Athyn for the program’s 11th home win in the NCAA tournament. The Tartans are now 13-2-2 for the season while Bryn Athyn closed the year at 14-3-1.
Tartans Selected to NCAA Championships Field, Will Host First and Second Rounds

The seventh-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team received an at-large bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship after finishing second in the University Athletic Association and have been selected to host the first and second rounds. The appearance in the NCAA tournament marks the ninth in ten years for the program which finished the regular season with a 12-2-2 overall mark.

The seventh-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, to face fourth-ranked Case Western Reserve University on Saturday, November 5 in the last regular season game of the year with the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship on the line as the two teams were tied atop the standings with 5-0-1 UAA marks. An early goal by the Spartans held up, as the home team won 1-0 to secure its first UAA Championship. The Tartans close the regular season with a 12-2-2 overall mark and 5-1-1 record in the UAA.

The ninth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team is tied at the top of the University Athletic Association (UAA) standings after a 1-0 victory against the University of Rochester at home on Sunday, October 30. The Tartans are now 12-1-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the UAA while Rochester is 7-3-5 and 2-2-2.
