(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team won 2-0 after traveling downtown to Point Park University on Saturday, September 23. The Tartans are now 8-0 for the season.
Inside the Box Score
- Junior Catherine MacNichol scored the first goal for the Tartans in the 16th minute.
- The assist was made by graduate student Kaitlyn Montague.
- The second goal for the Tartans was an own goal by the Point Park defense in the 17th minute.
- Freshman Maddie Kellogg earned the win after facing two shots in the first half and shared the shutout with freshman Kate Bergen who played the full second half.
