1. What is the most impressive thing about Carnegie Mellon University?

I've always been extremely impressed by the type of students here at Carnegie Mellon. Everyone is very talented, and usually in more ways than one. And while the talent can range from music/the arts to engineering, that diversity is what makes CMU even more impressive.

2. What do you like most about the city of Pittsburgh?

I love being in Steelers Country! I love the pride that almost everyone in Pittsburgh has for their sports teams and for their city! It's awesome seeing most of the city dressed in black and gold on game days.

3. What are your plans following graduation?

I will be working as an Analyst for Vistaprint in Lexington, MA.

4. How did you get the opportunity to intervew with Vistaprint?

I first heard about Vistaprint through the Carnegie Mellon Career & Professional Development Center. I met Vistaprint recruiters at the Technical Opportunities Conference (TOC) and got my first interview with them.

5. Who or what has been most influential on your time as an athlete at Carnegie Mellon?

Coach Kinney has been extremely influential on me throughout my time as an athlete here at Carnegie Mellon. He is a fantastic coach. He has such great energy that it is contagious, and I've improved so much under him. He truly cares about each of us individually; he has helped me through some injuries and also cares about what is going on in my life outside of the pool. Having this kind of relationship with him is what has helped me be successful in my athletic career here at CMU.

6. What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave behind to the swim team?

For the past four years I've always tried to have a positive attitude, everyone knows I'm pretty much always smiling. So my hope is to leave behind a legacy of positivity. A great attitude, combined with hard work, will always put us on track to reach our goals.
