In her first year swimming for the Tartans, Corrine Bacigal provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200-yard backstroke. At the UAA Championship, Bacigal recorded her best times of 59.54 in the 100-yard backstroke and 2:06.42 in the 200-yard backstroke. She earned the second-best time for Tartans in the 200-yard backstroke. She hit the wall at 4:40.00 in the 400-yard IM at the Total Performance Invitational hosted by Kenyon College.
