Shi Garners UAA Recognition

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University freshman Emma Shi (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) was honored as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for her performance in two Tartan dual meet victories over the weekend.  
    
Shi placed first in two events posting season-bests times.  She won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.38 and the 400-yard IM in 4:37.93. The Tartans topped Allegheny 210-47 and Washington & Lee 153-109 to remain perfect in dual meet action at 6-0.  

The Tartans will compete December 4-6 in the Total Performance Invitational at Kenyon College.
