Tartans Host Diving Invitational

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's diving team hosted a two-day diving invitational with four other Division III schools on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19. The women competed in 11 dives on the 3-meter board on Friday and 11 dives on the 1-meter board on Saturday.

Inside The Results

  • Junior Kelli Kuramoto continued her tremendous season, which has already garnered her two University Athletic Association (UAA) Diver of the Week awards, with a second-place finish on the 3-meter board with 477.70 points. The junior then won the 1-meter event with 447.60 points.
  • Senior Emilia Schwallie placed fourth on the 3-meter and 1-meter with scores of 418.80 and 394.9, respectively.
  • Sophomore Kyndall Tatum hit 392.35 points to place eighth on the 3-meter.

The Tartans will break for the holidays and resume action in January with a two-day meet at New York University.
