Tartans Continue Competition at NCAA Championships

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming and diving team continued action at the 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday, March 21 at the Greensboro Aquatics Center.

Performances

• The 200-yard freestyle relay placed 24th in the preliminaries with sophomore Savannah Xu, sophomore Eliana Szabo, sophomore Sophie Elliott, and junior Abigael O'Donnell finishing in 1:37.12.
• Elliott later swam in the 100-yard butterfly prelims and finished 48th in a career-best time of 57.61.
• Szabo swam the 200-yard freestyle and placed 34th in 1:53.13.

• The NCAA Championships continue on Friday, March 22, with the 200-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke, and 100-yard breaststroke, and 800-yard freestyle relay.
