Career Bests Hit at All-Atlantic Regional Indoor Championships

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team members competed at the All-Atlantic Regional Indoor Championships on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, hosted at the Golisano Training Center on the campus of Nazareth University in Rochester, New York.

Top Performances on the Track:

  • Senior Emily Lannen finished seventh in the 800-meter run in a career-best time of 2:17.40.

Top Performances in the Field:

  • Senior JoJo Huczko earned a seventh-place finish in the pole vault after clearing 3.30 meters. Freshman Hazel Buonopane was 17th following her clearance of 3.15 meters.
  • Sophomore Iniyaa Mohanraj finished 16th in the long jump with a mark of 5.09 meters and seventh in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 11.33 meters.

Up Next:

  • The Tartans will now wait to see the qualifying lists for the NCAA Indoor Championships at Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Friday and Saturday, March 8-9. The list will be announced late Sunday night.
