Two Volleyball Players Named All-UAA

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior middle blocker Maddie Rosnick (Fallsington, Pa./Pennsbury) and sophomore setter Emily Wright (Fairfax, Va./Chantilly) of the Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team were named Honorable Mention All-University Athletic Association (UAA) team.  This marks the 14th straight season that the Tartans have had at least two members named to the All-UAA team.

Rosnick ended the season with 70 block assists, 80 total blocks, to lead the team for the second straight season in both categories.  She ends her career with 204 block assists, ranking seventh on the school's all-time list.  The senior was third on the team this past season with 167 kills while recording a season-high 11 against Case Western Reserve and Rochester.  

Wright, for the second straight season ranked first on the team in assists.  Her 728 this season combined with last year's total, ranks her fifth on the school's all-time list after two seasons with 1,784.  The sophomore recorded a season-high 41 assists against Brandeis.  Wright also finished the season with 28 service aces, ranking second on the team.
