Higgins Garners Fourth ECAC Honor

(DANBURY, Conn.) – For the fourth time this season, junior libero Molly Higgins (Vero Beach, Fla.) of the 21st-ranked Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team was named Corvias Eastern Conference Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Libero of the Week.  Higgins receives the award following the team's 3-1 win over NAIA foe Point Park University Friday, October 30.   
    
Higgins recorded a career-best five service aces and tabbed a match-high 27 digs in the Tartans non-conference victory.  She now has 605 digs on the season ranking sixth most in a single-season for a Tartan.

The Tartans return to action on Friday, November 6 for the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships in Rochester, N.Y. and will begin the tournament against No. 22 Chicago at 2:00 p.m.
