Machika had one of the best years for a first-year diver in diving history for the Tartans, as she earned an invite to the first-ever NCAA Diving Regionals and set the school record for the one-meter diving event with 457.80 points at the Total Performance Invitational hosted by Kenyon College. Machika also finished fifth at the UAA Championships in both the one-meter event and the three-meter event.
