Casey Potrebic - Men's Track & Field

Senior Casey Potrebic of the Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field team competed in the heptathlon at the South Region Final Qualifier held by Shenandoah University over the weekend. Potrebic scored 4,846 points and placed first while his total points ranked him 19th nationally and qualified him for the NCAA Indoor Championships. During the event, the senior set personal-best times in the 60-meter dash, 60-meter hurdles and 1,000-meter run, as well as total points in the heptathlon. He crossed the finish line in 7.20 seconds in the 60-meter dash, 9.14 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles and 2:48.70 in the 1,000-meter run. His 4,846 points scored ranks third all-time in program history.
