The tennis courts sit at the center of Carnegie Mellon’s campus and were replaced with a post-tensioned concrete system in 2025. The facility features six wind-protected, hard courts available for use by Carnegie Mellon faculty, staff, and students.

A video scoreboard was installed ahead of the 2015 fall season, and PlaySight video cameras on each court have enabled live broadcasting since summer 2016.

Critical Update

The tennis courts are undergoing major renovations and will be closed starting May 11, 2025. The tenative re-opening date is early October.

We understand this is a strain on our tennis community and want you to know there are 12 courts at Schenley Park that can be used while our courts are offline.
