Neha Tummala - Volleyball

Sophomore Neha Tummala of the Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team helped the Tartans to a fifth-place finish at the UAA Championship over the weekend, as the Tartans collected a 3-0 win over Rochester and a 3-1 victory over NYU after dropping a 3-1 decision to 20th-ranked Chicago to open play. Tummala totaled 123 assists, 23 digs and six aces. She started the weekend with 34 assists and nine digs in the Tartans setback to Chicago. She then recorded 39 assists and four aces in the Tartans win over Rochester before closing the championship with 50 assists in the win over NYU.
