Bio

Alex Chismar enters her second year on the Carnegie Mellon athletic training staff at the start of the 2023 season. Chismar previously worked as an assistant athletic trainer for St. Francis University for two years with primary sports of women's soccer, women's swimming, women's lacrosse, women's field hockey and men's volleyball.

At Carnegie Mellon, Chismar is the athletic trainer for the men's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving and softball teams.

Chismar is a 2020 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. While working at St. Francis, Chismar earned her master's degree in exercise science and health promotion with a concentration in sport psychology from California University of Pennsylvania in 2022.
