(EDINBORO, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team traveled to Division II Edinboro University on Sunday afternoon a dropped a 5-2 contest. The Tartan dual record is now 1-1 while the Fighting Scots are 3-0.

Doubles Play:

  • The Tartans won at second and third doubles to earn the point per Division II scoring.
  • The tandem of junior Derek Wong and freshman Akshay Joshi won 6-3 at the two spot before senior Raahil Doshi and Jaden D'Abreo clinched the team point with a 6-3 win at third doubles.

Singles Play:

  • Joshi claimed the Tartans lone point in singles play with a 7-6(8), 6-3 win.

Notes

  • The win for Joshi is his first collegiate dual match victory.
