Tartans Fall 6-3 to Division II West Virginia Wesleyan

(GREENSBURG, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team hosted Division II West Virginia Wesleyan College on Saturday at the Greensburg Racquet Club. The Tartans dropped a 6-3 match and are now 1-2 while the Bobcats are 1-0.
Doubles Play:
- The Tartans trailed 2-1 following doubles play with the lone point coming at the third spot. The tandem of senior Jonathan Nottingham and freshman Sebastien Lhuillier won 8-5.
Singles Play:
- Senior Raahil Doshi knotted the score at 2-all, as he took the first singles point with a 6-3, 6-1 win in the third spot.
- The Bobcats then took the next three points winning at first, six and the four singles to seal the win.
- Freshman Akshay Joshi won at the five slot, 6-4, 7-5 to give the Tartans there third and final point of the match.
Notes
- The Tartans have won at third doubles in each of their three dual matches this season.
