Jangbahadur Completes Season at NCAA Singles Championship

(ST. LOUIS, Mo.) – Carnegie Mellon University freshman Raghav Jangbahadur opened play at the 2024 NCAA Men's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships on Sunday, May 26. The first-year Tartan was invited to the tournament for his singles play with competition taking place at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jangbahadur drew Joshua Bode of Connecticut College in the Round of 32. The Tartan won the first set 6-3 before Bode tied the match with a 6-4 second-set win. Bode was then able to finish the match with a 6-2 win in set three.

Jangbahadur finished his second season with an 18-10 record in singles and was named the ITA Atlantic South Region Rookie of the Year.
