Tartans Compete at Kent State Jud Logan Memorial

(KENT, Ohio) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field team competed in the Jud Logan Memorial Meet at Kent State University on Saturday.
Top Performances
- Freshman Luke Freimanis won the 60-meter hurdles with a school record time of 8.10.
- In a field of 28 athletes, senior Matthew Coyle won the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:29.35. Sophomore Ryan Podnar took second with a time of 8:34.32. Freshman Oliver Moss took fourth, and senior Colin McLaughlin took fifth with times of 8:38.36 and 8:45.21, respectively.
- Senior Sebastian Sanso placed third in high jump with a mark of 1.90 meters. Freimanis placed fifth, also earning a mark of 1.90 meters.
- Sanso also earned fifth place in the triple jump with a mark of 13.59 meters.
- The Tartan's 4x400-meter relay team of junior Casey Potrebic, senior Aleksei Seletskiy, freshman Jonathan Okorie and freshman Veyd Patil placed sixth.
- The shot put saw juniors Victor Crawshaw and Johnathan Crawshaw place sixth and seventh, respectively, with marks of 14.0 meters and 13.65 meters.
