Seven Men's Cross Country Runners Garner All-Academic Honor from USTFCCCA

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) – Seven members of the Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team were named to the All-Academic team by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). In addition, the Tartans earned all-academic team accolades sporting a 3.54 cumulative average.
Graduate student Anthony Toskins along with seniors Eamon Brady, Matthew Coyle, Aleksei Seletskiy, Seth Williams, junior Ryan Podnar and sophomore Matthew Short were named All-Academic honorees.
The USTFCCCA All-Academic award honors those student-athletes who have succeeded both academically and athletically. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.3 cumulative grade point average and must have finished among the top-25 percent of the field at their respective NCAA regional meet.
