(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – Fourteen Carnegie Mellon University softball athletes were honored for their 2020-21 academic success by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). All fourteen were named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes for finishing the year with a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) or better.

Seven of the fourteen honorees achieved a 4.0 GPA for the semester while the team of 21 earned a 3.63 GPA.

The honor is the first for each athlete, as the NFCA did not give out awards in 2019-20.
