Tartans Win Dual Meet at Gettysburg

(GETTYSBURG, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming team traveled to compete against Gettysburg College on Saturday, November 9. The Tartans beat the Bullets 152 to 110.
Top Performances
- Junior Audrey Soetanto won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.38 and the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:38.16.
- Junior Grace Malinger won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.17.
- Freshman Allie Kim swam the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.35, placing first.
- Junior Sophie Elliott, freshman Angelina Sanna, and senior Katie Rock swept the 500-yard freestyle. Elliott won with a time of 5:14.48.
- Freshman Natalia Evans-Gibson won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.39.
- Malinger, junior Yitian Zhang, freshman Janna Lu, and junior Eliana Szabo won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:39.01.

The swimmers will travel to Kenyon College for the Kenyon Invitational on Thursday, November 21 through Saturday, November 23. The divers will host the CMU Diving Invitational on Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23.
