PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team hosted its second invitational on Saturday and Sunday. Joining the Tartans in the two-day event were Case Western Reserve University and Duquesne University.
Doubles Results
- The Tartans won nine out of 15 of their doubles matches.
- Leading the Tartans with three wins in doubles was sophomore Ainika Hou as she won all three matches teaming with three different partners.
- Four players won two doubles matches: senior Zoe Angell along with a trio of freshmen Victoria Gazda, Rachel Li and Joycie Lu.
Singles Results
- The Tartans finished the weekend going 10-10 in singles play.
- Freshman Ancele Dolensek and Gazda went perfect, winning both of their matches.
- Junior Manuela Van Cotthem ended play over the two days with a mark of 2-1.
