Kiekhaefer to Run in Finals of 1,500m at NCAA Championships

(CANTON, N.Y.) - Senior Erin Kiekhaefer (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) of the Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team will have a chance to end her career as an All-American at the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Kiekhaefer qualifed for the finals in the 1,500-meter run on Thursday, May 21.

The senior finished sixth in her heat of the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:33.77 and was 10th overall, qualifying for the finals which will take place on Saturday, May 23 at 1:30 p.m. To finish as an All-American, Kiekhaefer will need to finish in the top eight of the 12-person race.
