Yee to Close Career at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior women's track and field athlete Grace Yee (San Francisco, Calif./Lick-Wilmerding) will complete her track and field career at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This year's meet will be hosted in Geneva, Ohio, at SPIRE Institute from Thursday, May 25 through Saturday, May 27.

Yee, the school record holder and three-time University Athletic Association (UAA) Champion in the pole vault, will compete on the opening day of the meet at 12 p.m.

Yee's mark of 3.77 meters is currently 17th in the nation. She achieved the mark at the Allegheny College Invitational on Friday, May 12.

This appearance on the national stage will be the second for Yee who also competed at the 2017 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the pole vault.
