Hoffman Wins 5K at Jud Logan Memorial

(KENT, Ohio) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team competed in the Jud Logan Memorial Meet at Kent State University on Saturday.
Top Performances
- Senior Alyssa Hoffman won the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:31.29. Senior Lauryn McKenna came in third with a time of 19:28.71.
- Sophomore Ananya Devpura completed the 3000-meter run in 10:21.89, earning fourth place. Sophomore Maya Ducker placed fifth with a time of 10:27.87. Senior Lauren May placed sixth with a time of 10:57.93.
- Sophomore Hazel Buonopane placed fifth in pole vault with a mark of 3.30 meters.
- Junior Jackie Liu ran the mile in 5:14.17, placing seventh. Freshman Elise Kempf finished in 5:18.45, placing eighth.
- The Tartan's 4x400-meter relay team of Liu, freshman Estee Teo, freshman Emma Horsley and senior Mia Constantin placed seventh with a time of 4:19.12.
- Horsley finished the 800-meter run in a time of 2:22.51, earning 10th.
- Senior Katie Monahan finished 10th in shot put with a mark of 11.81 meters.
