Tartans Win Road Contest Against John Carroll, 3-0

(UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH.) – The Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team traveled to Ohio to compete against John Carroll University on Friday, October 25. They won 3-0, putting them at 14-8 overall and the Blue Streaks at 15-7 overall.

  • The Tartans won 3-0 with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, and 25-22.
  • The Tartans hit 0.200 and the Blue Streaks hit 0.104.
  • Graduate student Laura Reichard and junior Elizabeth Schlemmer had 12 and 11 kills, respectively.
  • Schlemmer also had two service aces.
  • Sophomore Neha Tummala dished out 40 of the Tartans' 41 total assists.
  • Tummala had 16 digs and Reichard had 13.
