Tartans Place Third at Robert Morris Colonial Invitational

(CLINTON, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team competed in the Robert Morris University Colonial Invitational on Saturday, September 14. The Tartans placed third, scoring 65 points on the 5k course.

  • Sophomore Ananya Devpura crossed first for the Tartans in ninth place with a time of 18:12.48.
  • Freshman Elise Kempf followed in 10th place with a time of 18:15.12.
  • Junior Margaret Ann Healy placed 12th with a time of 18:19.42.
  • Junior Orit Shiang and freshman Emma Horsley finished in 19th and 20th respectively with times of 18:48.91 and 18:49.42.
  • Sophomore Maya Ducker and junior Jacqueline Liu finished in 19:01.03 and 19:03.65, placing 26th and 28th respectively.

The Tartans will travel to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for the Paul Short Invitational. Competition will begin Saturday, October 5 at 11 a.m.
