Tartans Place Second in SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational

(GENESEO, Ny.) – The Carnegie Mellon women's cross country team traveled to New York for the SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday. As the Tartans placed second in a field of 29 in the 6k race.

- Junior Orit Shiang crossed first for the Tartans in eighth place in a field of 372 runners with a time of 21:50.7.
- Sophomore Ananya Devpura finished right behind in ninth place with a time of 21:54.4.
- Junior Margaret Ann Healy placed 12th with a time of 21:56.9.
- Freshman Emma Horsley crossed in 14th place with a time of 22:10.0.
- Sophomore Maya Ducker rounded out the top five for the Tartans, placing 25th with a time of 22:31.8.
