Matthew Porter - Men's Cross Country

Graduate student Matthew Porter of the fifth-ranked Carnegie Mellon men's cross country team led the Tartans to their fifth straight Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship on Saturday, November 11. Porter earned the regional championship crown with a time of 24:40.0 on the 8k course. He became Carnegie Mellon's first individual winner since 2008 when Brian Harvey won the race for the second straight season.
