Intramurals at CMU

Intramurals at CMU

Overview

The goal of our program is to establish fun and inviting playing environments for all skill levels. Various leagues and tournaments are offered to the entire University community each year. Through participation in this program, students are able to remain physically fit and develop leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and other important life skills. Intramural Sports are also a proven social networking opportunity. If you like sports, we definitely have something for you!

Check out the Intramural Sports Participant Manual to explore the program as a whole.

Activities

  • We offer a wide range of sports for all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time at Carnegie Mellon, current faculty/staff members, and spouses/partners. Leagues, tournaments, and special events are offered year-round. Whether you are a sports-enthusiast, a beginner learning to play a new sport for the first time, or somewhere in-between- there's certainly something for you!
  • Our online league management system (IMLeagues) makes it easy for participants to register, view schedules, league standings, championship photos and more.
  • Are you interested in participating but don't have a team? Here are a few suggestions on how to get involved: 1) Talk to your neighbors, classmates, or friends and create your own team. 2) Register online as a 'Free Agent' using the instructions for IMLeagues. 3) Show-up at the game site during play and look for a team that needs another player.

Jobs
