(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will concluded its season on Saturday, November 15 when it hosts Washington University in St. Louis in an University Athletic Association (UAA) showdown.
When the teams collide Saturday, it will mark the 32nd meeting with the series edge going to the Bears 16-15 after a 9-7 victory a year ago in Pittsburgh. The game will also feature two of the top-10 active winningest coaches in Division III. Tartans head coach Rich Lackner ranks sixth with 187 career wins while Bears leader Larry Kindbom is fifth with 188.
Carnegie Mellon enters the contest with a 3-6 overall record and a 0-2 mark in UAA play while Washington U. comes to Pittsburgh with a 4-5, 1-1 record. Kick is slated for 12:00 p.m. on the turf of Gesling Stadium.
