Vasiliadis Named to PAC Offensive Player of the Week

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University sophomore running Tre Vasiliadis (Great Falls, Va./Langley), was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week. Vasiliadis receives the honor following his play Saturday in the Tartans' 34-7 win over Saint Vincent College.

Vasiliadis finished with 24 carries for 102 yards and three touchdowns Saturday afternoon. It was his third 100-yard game this season. Vasiliadis scored on runs of six yards, two yards and one yard. He currently leads the PAC with 811 rushing yards and is second in the league with 14 rushing touchdowns.

Carnegie Mellon returns to Gesling Stadium on Saturday, November 6 when the 22nd-ranked Presidents of Washington & Jefferson College travel to Pittsburgh for a 1:00 p.m. kick.
