(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University assistant football coach KK Rountree has been selected to participate in the 2025 NCAA and NFL Football Coaches Academy.
Roundtree is one of 58 NCAA coaches and NFL Legends who will take part in the Academy. The academy is an impactful educational opportunity to build connections and develop leadership acumen to pursue their career aspirations within football coaching. The program will take place February 22-24, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
"I am unbelievably excited for Coach Rountree's opportunity to professionally develop at the NCAA-NFL Coaches Academy in February," said Carnegie Mellon head football coach Ryan Larsen. "It is one of the premier educational programs that supports Football coaches, and I know he will grow in many ways as he prepares to become a future head coach."

He came to Carnegie Mellon after serving as an analyst for the special teams at the University of Connecticut for four seasons. Prior to his stop at UConn, Rountree worked at Stonehill College in 2018 as a secondary coach and from 2014-18, he was a varsity special teams coordinator and safeties coach for Pope John XXIII Regional High School.
